My clients struggle just like you do. Despite being hardworking, motivated, and always doing the right thing - life is difficult.

When they first start counseling they are struggling to just get through the day, they have been trying to run from their problems for so long, but realize they can’t keep going like this.

On the outside my clients are very successful and living wonderful lives but on the inside they feel overwhelmed, and worried that things will never get better. It hurts so much always putting on a front and never letting anyone really know what terrible things they have gone through.

My clients have worked so hard for everything they have in life. No one has handed them anything. They are willing to put in the work necessary to get to the root of the problem.

But issues from the past get in the way of the life they want in so many ways. They can’t be fully present with the ones that they love and their anxiety is keeping them up at night. They feel all alone in their pain, preventing them from being the person they want to be.

Before they came to see me they were worried if counseling could really help them. They believed the terrible things that happened in their life would always hurt. “The past is in the past and I just have to move forward”…. And they would spend years trying to shoulder the pain themselves, trying to fix it by themselves. Feeling like a failure that they can’t magically make the hard stuff go away on their own.
